Bonding Moments with my kids over A LOAF OF BREAD, A CONTAINER OF MILK, AND A STICK OF BUTTER

My kids and I have a nightly ritual now -- watching vintage Sesame Street videos from mommy's generation (meaning, Sesame Street clips I enjoyed as I child).  A LOAF OF BREAD, A CONTAINER OF MILK, AND A STICK OF BUTTER is a fave clip of mine.  While I was watching it with my kids, I realized now that this is deserves a double thumbs-up from a mommy like me.  Here are some valuable lessons:  (a) a test/exercise in memory skills  (b) training kids to do simple errands  (c) an exercise of following instructions  (d) ENJOY!  the cool graphics, illustration, animation; the groovy background music; the soothing voices of the mom and the kid.  My kids and I shared a good laugh watching this.
