Working moms like me wear different hats. More often than not, I think I wear several hats all at the same time. Is it possible? I guess moms are gifted that way; but there are days when I just wanna let off steam and let the wind blow my hair away!  Well, when just 'dropping the hat' (or several hats for that matter) is not an option for working moms like me, I think I try to find ways to de-stress.  Flashback to circa 1999...heard this song "Sunscreen" by Baz Luhrmann over the radio. Full of motivational insights. It's a song that I go back to once in a while just to give me some perspective. There are certain portions in the song that hit home at a particular stages in my life.  Hearing this now as a working mom, I'm realizing that, yeah, some of the hats I'm wearing right now, don't seem to fit.  But yeah, I gotta be thankful that these hats are covering my head in one way or another. Just like sunscreen, hats give some needed protection.  So I'm thankful, still thankful...
